“The aim of this shoot was to capture the incredible beauty of the interior SW and showcase the wedding and event services available in our region. There is so much to see in and around Bridgetown. For those seeking a wedding destination rich in Australian heritage and slightly off the beaten path, the Blackwood River Valley is a perfect choice.
In organising this shoot, Emilie Abbiss, owner of the venue Dalmore Farm, and I focused on giving participating vendors the space to get creative and push their artistic boundaries. We also chose to include Hannah and Rick, a “real” couple, because they perfectly embodied the spirit of the shoot and brought heart and soul to the whole process. Vennessa, the other beautiful bride featured, is Emilie’s neighbour and when not looking amazing in the latest couture wedding dresses, she can be found driving a tractor or mustering sheep.
The final images showcase just how much fun we all had creating this gorgeous set up. From Lara Rose Bos’s spectacular flowers to the beautiful hilltop bell tent set up from Kim Starkie at Southern Forests Glamping, every vendor really brought their A-game!
